He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hart and Viola Collins Hart; and his siblings, Douglas, David Hart, Yvonne Arnold and Patty Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Campbell Hart; his daughter Jacqueline Marie Hart; his son-in-law Martin Goodwin; and his sister Christine Cady. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In remembrance donations can be made to True Friends Animal Shelter in Montrose, which was his favorite charity and to which he donated regularly.
