He was predeceased by : his wife Brenda Burnett; his parents, Kenneth Burnett and Lena Terboss Burnett; his brother Kenneth Burnett; and his nephew Aaron Burnett.

He is survived by : his daughters, Melissa Martin (George) and Jennifer Burnett; his grandchildren, Robert Lindquist, Raymond Lindquist, Alec Martin, Grant Martin and Madison Martin; and his siblings, Timothy Burnett (Jackie Halesky), Robert Burnett (Noreen), Rickey Burnett (Elaine), Tina Roettenbacker, Kristy Benscoter (John), Amy Terboss Travis (Joe Kimmel) and Marci Horne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
