It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia L. Turner of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Hughes and Mary M. Hughes (Togans); and her son Curtis Turner. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Thomas and Sainty M. W. Turner; her grandchildren, Alita Turner, Sainty Turner Jr., Nathan Turner, Aaliyah Turner, Stephen L. Thomas Jr., Debralynn Horne and Anthony Swann; her great grandchild CheVaya Horne; and her siblings, Henry Hughes, James Hughes, Brenda Simmons (Hughes) and Deborah McDonald (Washby). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held privately for family only. Please wear a mask, as it will be required by the family.
