It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Schmidt Sr. (New Kensington, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 19, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schmidt and Nettie Schmidt (Moore); and his siblings, John "Jack" Schmidt, Raymond Schmidt and Gerry Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Schmidt (DiMuzio) of New Kensington; and his children, Russell L. Schmidt Jr. of New Kensington, Ruth Ann Schmidt of New Kensington and Jennifer Ann Schmidt of New Kensington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
