She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. George and Katie Mae Stoudemire Houser; and her husband Howard. She is survived by: her sons, Milton C. Hughes (Patricia) of Arnold, PA and Herbert T. Hughes (Shirley) of New Kensington, PA; her grandchildren, Howard A. Hughes (Johanna) of Perth Amboy, NJ, Antowand D. Harris (Temetris) of Charlotte, NC, Nikita Hughes (Jack) of Arnold, PA, Nina M. Martin (Christopher) of New Kensington, PA, Jason S. E. Hughes (Kirsten) of Arnold, PA, Latoya L. Hughes of Gaithersburg, MD and Joe Hughes of Arnold, PA; her brothers, James Houser (Shirley), Thomas Houser (Synobia) of New Kensington, PA and Gerald Houser (Linda) of New Kensington, PA; her children, Howard A. "Punch" Hughes II (Maria) and Melissa D. Jones; and her siblings, George Jr., Grady, Bill, Mary, Birdalee, Clarence, John, Robert and Howard Houser. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Due to the current social restrictions from Covid-19, and respect for the family, only 25 people will be permitted in the funeral home at one time.
