She was predeceased by: her father Hurshel H. Sr. Ackles; and her siblings, Hurshel Ackles Jr. (Jo Ann), Marie Lewis, Wanda Johnson, Norma Ackles, Albert and William Ackles.
She is survived by: her husband William C. Kemp Sr.; her children, Desiree L. Whitacre (Douglas) and William C. Kemp Jr. (Shirley); and her siblings, Lillian Owens, Carl Ackles (Betty), George Ackles (Eunice) and Cora McDonald (Rich).
