Rose Gaydosh Obituary

91, of New Kensington, died Tuesday December 20, 2022 in Allegheny Valley Hospital Emergency Room, Natrona Heights. She was born in New Kensington on September 7, 1931 to the late Andrew and Eleanor Kowalkowski Peck and was a life long resident of New Kensington.

Mrs. Gaydosh was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. She was also a member of the VFW Post 92 Ladies Auxiliary and the Lower Burrell Moose Lodge #53. She enjoyed reading and going to casinos.

She is survived by her three children Stephanie Ciesielski of New Kensington, Stephen Gaydosh Jr. of Vera Beach, FL., and Richard (Donna) Gaydosh of Tampa, FL., four grandchildren Krystin (Kyle) Berntsen, Richard "Corey" (Kristian) Ciesielski, Arielle (Zachary) Ribel, and Chelsey Gaydosh, six great grandchildren Kylee, Keilani, and Kieran Ciesielski and Kayden, Kelsey Berntsen and Cruze Ribel, sister Dolores Pankoski of New Kensington, and two brothers Donald Peck of New Kensington and Ronald (Lois) Peck of Upper Burrell.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen A. Gaydosh, two grandchildren Wendy Lynn Ciesielski and Jaimie Lynn Ciesielski and sister Veronica Allen.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Rd. at Alder St. where Prayers of Transfer will be said Wednesday at 12:30 PM followed by Christian Funeral Mass at 1 PM in St. Mary of Czestochowa Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Mausoleum, Lower Burrell. The Christian Mothers will conduct a prayer service at 3 PM Tuesday in the funeral home followed the VFW Ladies Auxiliary at 3:30 PM and the Moose Lodge at 7 PM. The family suggests donations made in her name to St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 100 Freeport Rd. New Kensington, PA 15068.
