He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald J. Slater and Dolores Slater (Pokusa). He is survived by: his wife Terri J. Slater (Clever); his children, Ronald J. Slater III of Upper Burrell, Paul Slater (Jamie) of North Apollo and Kristin DeStefano (Justin) of Allegheny Township; his siblings, David Slater (Nancy) of Plum, Joseph Slater (Mary Beth) of Lower Burrell, James Slater of Plum and Karen Krowsoski (Andrew) of Lower Burrell; and his grandchildren, Aiden Slater of North Apollo, Ruby, Reese and Rex DeStefano of Allegheny Township. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
