Oates Sr. of Lower Burrell; his siblings, Thomas Oates Jr. (Joan) of Cantonsville and Kristen Oates of Pittsburgh; and his nieces and nephews, Brian (Jennifer), Kevin, Tyler Oates, Alina, Michael and Christopher Phillips.
