He was predeceased by: his parents, William Francis and Blanche Veronica Oliver (Feeney). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ann Oliver (Norman); his children, Cynthia A. Perry (Steven), Margaret J. Potter (David) and Richard T. Oliver, Jr. (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Emily, Megan, Sydney, Olivia, Matthew and John; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Landyn, Carter, Jameson, Liam and Charlie.

In Richard T. Oliver's memory, donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Parkinsons Foundation or Alzheimer's Foundation.
