He was predeceased by: his parents, Fidelis Emmert and Alice Emmert; his daughters, Evelyn Lucas and Alyce Emmert; and his brother Dan Emmert.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Emmert (Powell); his children, Dale Emmert (Tracy) of Apollo and Tom Emmert (Jo) of Maine; his grandchildren, Rick Emmert (Jessica), Tim Emmert, Eric Emmert (Jesse) and Megan Milligan (Ryan); and his brother Glenn Emmert. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
