He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard L. Smith and Olive Smith; his daughter Theresa V. Smith; and his brother Greg Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Vollink Smith; his children, Sean, Brandon, Angelina and Andrea Smith; and his sister Mary Spekis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
