With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Max Q. Schmitt (New Kensington, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 63. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Schmitt and Justine Fedan Wenger. He is survived by: his siblings, Dr. Rebecca Day (Stewart) of Minneota, MN, Attorney Mary Schmitt of Friday Harbor, WA, Dr. John Schmitt (Christine Frey) of Erie, Gretchen Schmitt R. D. (Frederick E. Frederick) of New Kensington and Zenon Schmitt (Beth Nichols) of Champion; his nieces and nephews, Larissa Johnson, Nadia Schmitt (William Kalvik), Zenon F. Schmitt, Brittany Schaar (Justin) and Justin Schmitt; his great-niece Luna; and his great-nephews, Oliver and Leo Kalvik.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ross G. Walker Funeral Home (217 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068).
