She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph D. Short and Ruth Carolyn Roper Short; her husband Charles W. Shearer; her son Charles R. Shearer; and her brother John Short.
She is survived by: her daughter Sally A. Allan (Douglas) of Lower Burrell; and her grandchildren, Erin Harbison (Michael), Elese and Jesse Allan.
The family suggests donations made in her name to Logan's Ferry Presbyterian Church.
