He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Makowski and Theodora Zaleski Makowski; his siblings, Pius, Jerome, Leonard and Laura Pazul; and his pet Chase.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Mento Makowski; his children, Mary Jane "Babe" Rayburg (Tom), Sue Sporer, Millie, Robert of Texas and Eric Makowski of Texas; his grandchildren, Ryan Rayburg (Jamie), Allison Rayburg, Dustin Makowski (Avery) and Cameran Makowski; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Leighton, Tiernery and Ryden; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Michniak (Michael); his brother Frank Mento (Helen); and his sister-in-law Marie Clark. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
