He was predeceased by : his father Leo Ring and his mother Mary Agnes Ring (Willis). He is survived by his wife Pamela Ring; his children, John Charles Ring, Jr. and Lee Ann Mudry (Martin); his grandchildren, Kiera Addair (Abram) and Kyle Mudry; his step-children, Kelly Cipriani and Daniel Cipriani (Lindsey); his sister Mary Wentroble; and his friend Mark Mikol. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren.
