He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Long and Lillian C. Long (Girardi); and his nephew Joseph F. Long, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Beighley Long; his daughters, Angela M. Long (Joseph) and Sherry A. Long (Ronald); his granddaughter Constance Marie Ford; and his siblings, Joseph F. Long, Sr. (Leah) and Lillian Clocher (Rich). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
