She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Isabel Smith (Olbeter); and her husband Larry A. Dunkel. She is survived by: her children, Jaime Connors (Brian Rodriguez) of North Versailles and Michael Dunkel (Alisia Hollingsworth) of New Kensington; her grandchildren, Katie Connors and Bryant Hollingsworth; her siblings, Charles Smith (Shirley) of Natrona Heights, Lee Smith of New Kensington, Jeff Smith of Georgia, Vince Smith (Lisa) of Gibsonia and Lauren Glos of Elizabeth; and her nephews, Vince Smith Jr. (Sherri) and Jason Smith.
