She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecelia Machara and Alois Machara; her husband Walter Karrs; and her brothers, August and Vincent Machara.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Karrs of Bakersfield, Calif, Thomas (Andrea), Mary Ellen Karrs Bohinski (James) of Plainfield Illinois and David Paul Karrs (Natacha) of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Christian, Magdalen, Andre, Brian Karrs, Sarah and Michelle Bohinski; her niece Monica Romito; and her nephew Louis Machara.
Helen would often end discussions (especially to her children) by saying 'Hang in there' which seems appropriate now more than ever as we fight to end this COVID epidemic.
