She is survived by: her children, Nathan Peterson, Paul Peterson (Stacy), Jonathan Peterson (Jen), Deborah Peterson, Timothy Peterson, Janis Taliana (Rick) and Joel Gabelli; and her brother Frank Smolenak. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
