He was predeceased by: his father Rev. George Houser Sr.; his son Kenneth Houser; and his sibling Birdalee. He is survived by: his wife Linda R. Thrower; his children, Kevin Houser (Stephanie), Zachary Houser, Khemblin Houser, Edrick Houser Sr., Jeffery Houser (late Tracy), Gloria Houser-Lee (Howard), Gerald E. Houser Jr., Jody White (Jenny) and Whitney Houser; and his siblings, George Jr., Clarence, John, Robert, James, Howard, Thomas, William, Grady, Ruby Lee, Mary and Alma. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
