It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Stiner (New Kensington, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 27, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Stiner (Zimmerlink) and George W. Stiner. He is survived by: his wife Ruthann Stiner (Schultz); his daughter Aileen; his son-in-law Bill Mansfield; his grandchildren, Patrick, Becky Beiter, Matthew Beiter, Tessa Mansfield and Josi Mansfield; his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Evan Beiter; and his brother Franklin E. Stiner of New Kensington.
He was also instrumental in the startup of the Pieceful Patcher's Charity Quilt Group that have been making quilts for veterans for 20 years.
