He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen W. Machen and Hazel M. Machen (Cline); his son Nicholas Guido; and his sisters, Betty Machen and Alice Hancock.
He is survived by: his wife Stacy Machen (Guido); his son Frank Machen; and his sister Rachel Caviness. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
