She was predeceased by: her parents, James Duffey and Betty Brooks Duffey. She is survived by: her husband Melvyn E. Smith; her daughter Tracy D. Smith-Regus (Manuel); her stepdaughter Karmen Jarvis (Sonia Lewis); her grandchildren, Logan, Manuel and Marco; her siblings, Denise Frazier and Earl Duffey; and her nephew Chad Duffey. She is also survived by three nieces.

Viewing was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ross G. Walker Funeral Home (217 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (1150 Asa W. Roberts Way, New Kensington, PA 15068).
