We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Dominic E Montemurro of New Kensington, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alan Planitzer, Elena Montemurro and Tomasso Montemurro; and his aunt Elvira "Vivi" Manca. He is survived by: his parents, Carmine Montemurro and Michele Montemurro (Planitzer); his sister Adriana; his grandmother Nancy "Mamo" Planitzer; his aunts and uncles, Gino, Frank (Karen), Maria, Terry, Leslie, Sue, Cliff, Rita, Dave, Heidi and Jason; and his pet Onyx.
He received top Honors from Basic Training in Lackland Air Base, Texas with his class being the last in-person family audience before the Covid shutdown.
In lieu of flowers and because of his dedication to country and community, we request donations be made to: Military Connections, 313 Tionesta Drive, New Kensington, PA 15068 or made to the family to aid in creating a scholarship fund for future firefighters in Dominic's name and honor.
