He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Herrle and Rita Herrle (Schmoltzer). He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; and his brothers, Ken, Don, Ricky and Tom.

“I worked with Dave at Gulf Oil's mailroom back in the 1970s. We hung out together and Witnessed to folks around downtown Pittsburgh. We passed out many "$5" tracts. I was transferred to Texas in 1983 and lost track of my buddy.”
