He is survived by: his fiancé Gail Lynn Vermeulen; his son Joseph James Slahtovsky of Upper Burrell; his brother Kenneth Robert Slahtovsky (Brandy) of Upper Burrell; his stepmother Mary Slahtovsky; his stepsiblings, Thomas Halkais (Jennifer) of Upper Burrell, Michelle Adams (David) of Penn Hills and Gina Goth (Helmot) of Pittsburgh; and his nieces and nephews, Mason James, Simon Joseph, Dylan John, Joshua, Melissa and Sarah.
