He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert T. Gilbert and Virginia Gilbert (McMillen); and his daughter Connie Ann Gilbert. He is survived by: his daughter Danielle Gilbert; his grandchildren, Daniel C. Gilbert, Kelcie Gilbert and Kiana Richards; and his brother Robert A. Gilbert. He is also survived by three nieces and three great-nieces.
