He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Bash and Margaret Bash (Hartman); his nephew Jody Edgar; his siblings, Kenny Bash, Helena Bash and Shirley Edgar; and his parents-in-law, William and Doris Covey.

He is survived by: his wife Charla "Char" Bash (Covey); his daughter Amber O'Sullivan (Thomas "TJ); his grandson Owen; and his sisters, Barbara Zimmermen and Rose Weidenhoff.
