We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 75, Charles Schaeffer of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Charles' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Charles has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his son Garrett C. Schaeffer; and his brother Tom Schaeffer. He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. Vesco Schaeffer; his daughter-in-law Anastasia Schaeffer; his granddaughter Ashley Wiefling (Kirk); his brother George Schaffer (Valerie) of Ford City; and his little buddy Aidan Scalise.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rj Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1000 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068).
