He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles E. Sr. and Eleanor Piech Gerner; his children, Laurie Franco (Keith) and Charles E. Gerner (Kelly); his siblings, Glen Gerner (Betty), Gary Gerner (Pat), Ed Kedzierski (Elaine), Pam Baird (Mike Pravlik) and Sharon Wank (Don); his wife Karen Gerner; and his sister Pat Rowsick. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
