It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlene Rider of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Miller and Barbara Miller of New Kensington; her husband William Rider (Bill); and her son Joseph. She is survived by: her children, Erika, Austin, Savannah (Damon) of New Kensington and Heather of Florida; and her siblings, Donna, Linda, Charles and Laurie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rj Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1000 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068). Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Lung Cancer Association in memory of Charlene Rider.
