He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Jackson and Barbara Clark Jackson; and his son Carlos Howard. He is survived by: his children, LaReese Jackson and Carlynn Graves (David Jr.); and his sisters, Carmella Jackson-Cheatham and Amanda Evans. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
