He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan M. Beattie and Louise Predebon Beattie; his brother Keith Beattie; and his niece Jennifer Bates. He is survived by: his wife Kristen Davis Beattie; his children, Allan Beattie (Katie) of Hyde Park and Paige Beattie of Upper Burrell; his grandson Allan "AJ" Beattie; his siblings, Kristine Bates (Bob) of Lower Burrell, Michael Beattie (Colleen) and Beth Ann Knepshield (David) of Ford City; his nieces and nephews, Sean Bates, Brian (Melissa), Derek Beattie, Rena Orr (Garett), Michela (Jordan Alexander), Cassandra Beattie, Ian (Joy), Claire, Addison and Grace Knepshield; his sister-in-law Debbie Beattie; his parents-in-law, Tom and Maggie Davis; and his brother-in-law Matthew Davis.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made in his name to Burrell sports.
