He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Raywood and Priscilla Jean Raywood (Pitcher). He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Sis" Raywood; his children, Paul F. Raywood, III and Paige Johnson (Andrew); his grandchildren, Grant and Anna; and his sisters, Kathleen Westholder (Joseph), Beatrice Briggs (Charles) and Mary Beth Kelly (Sean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury or the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
