It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Sperling of New Hope, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 17, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Carlin and Helen Engels Carlin; and her son Peter Sperling. She is survived by: her spouse Sidney Sperling; her daughters, Elizabeth Sperling of Elkins Park and Martha Sperling of New Hope; her sons-in-law, Stephan Rosenfeld and Charles Silver; her sister Lorna Shinn; and her niece Noni Chadwick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Pat has requested that any memorial contributions be made to either the American Friends Service Committee in Philadelphia or any branch of the NAACP.
