He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Metzgar Sr. and Emma Katherine Crosley. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert (Susan), Steven (Janice), Louise (Thomas) and Carol (late Greg); his wife Joanne Yates; his children, John D. Metzgar III (Carol), William Metzgar (Shannon) and Wendy Metzgar; and his great grandchildren, Yorkie Terrier and Bailey. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in John's name to the Semper Fi and America's Fund.
