He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Laske and Jeannette Laske; his siblings, Albert and Dorothy; and his son Joel.
He is survived by: his wife Etta; his stepchildren, Karen McGinn (Mike), John Havrilla Jr., Jennifer Wise (Chris), Anthony Havrilla (Sue) and Michele McLaughlin (James); his grandchildren, Michael, Emily McGinn, Zachary, Megan Wise, Taylor, Madison Havrilla, Patrick and Connor McLaughlin; and his pet Maxie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund, an organization the family strongly support.
