He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Grete; his parents, Richard Ast and Anna Ast; his daughter Rose Murray; his son-in-law Ralph; and his grandchildren, James (Elizabeth), Ryan (Lynne) and Sean (Nicole). He was also cherished by his 7 great-grandchildren.
