He is survived by: his wife Stella Hershey Esch; his daughters, Melissa Zook (Scott) of Tanzania, Africa and Angie Lohr (Tom) of Lancaster, PA; his grandchildren, Abigail Zook, Whitney, Dawson, Karina, Alex, Victor and David Lohr; and his siblings, Vernon Esch (Reta), Lillian Martin (John), Doris Mellinger (Jim) and Elizabeth Boyce.
