He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Stoltzfus Kauffman; his children, Linda Fay (Samuel E. Fisher) of Loysville, PA, Ruth Ann (Jonathan Z. Beiler) of Paradise, Samuel D. Jr. (Katie Mae King) and John Ervin (Verna Lynn Stoltzfus); and his siblings, Levi (Nancy Kauffman) of Lancaster, John Kauffman of Womelsdorf, PA, Anna Beiler of Jersey Shore, Melvin (Kallie Kauffman) of Carlisle, Mattie S. Stoltzfus, Katie S. Beiler, Daniel, Jacob, Omar and Amos Kauffman. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
