He was predeceased by: his former wife LaVerne C. Mentzer (Shenk); his parent Ellis Mentzer; and his daughter Faye L. Gianensin. He is survived by: his wife Miriam M. Mentzer (Bowman); his parent Ruth Mentzer (Ranck); and his children, Jon S (Pamela Mentzer) and Joy L (Derrick S. Garman). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, a sister Mary married to Gene Lowery, New Holland four step-children: Joey married to Chris Sauder, Cindy Sauder, Kent married to Lori Sauder, Tricia married to Jonathan Kissel and nine step-grandchildren.
