He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gossert and June Gossert (Brandt); his granddaughter Amber Shirk; and his sisters, Polly Gossert and Caroline "Dolly" Bills.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Gossert (Elmer); his children, Vickie Brubaker, Gail (Chris Shirk) and Vance Gossert; and his siblings, Harry Gossert, Arthur "Tom" Gossert, Judy Schultz, Shirley Sauders and Arlene Wise. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private due to the current pandemic.
