She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. David Koch; her parents, Irvin H. Kulp and Anna Moore Kulp; and her siblings, Joseph I. Kulp, Sr. and E. Mildred Twaddell (Kulp).
She is survived by: her sister Ruth Lynn (Kulp) of Michigan. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
During this time she was an international exchange teacher in Buxton, England, which lead to many speaking engagements about her experience; and she received a Freedom Foundation Award.
