He was predeceased by: his parents, Myer Hess and Carrie Hess (Zwally); and his siblings, Harold A. Hess, Virgie Mae Groff, Ethel Jean Weidler and Ellen Marie Groff.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Hess (Brubaker); his children, Timothy (Deborah) and Heidi (J. Kenneth Long); his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Mitchell (Caroline), Alison and Britney; and his great grandchildren, Timothy, James, Michael Geyer, Rowan, Iris Long, Miriam, Hazel Horst, Lennon and Cash Clugston.
There will not be a public viewing, but immediately preceding the service, there will be private interment in the cemetery at the Zeltenreich Reformed Church, New Holland. Due to current CDC Guidelines, we ask you to follow social distancing protocols and a facial covering must be worn.
