He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elam Smucker and Anna Mary Stoltzfus of Bird; and his siblings, Jonathan, Paul, Marcus Smucker and Levina Huber.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Yoder Smucker; his children, Dennis Smucker (Barbara), Carl Smucker (Patricia), Conrad Smucker (Marypat) and Joy Yany (Craig); his grandchildren, Rachel (Don), Megan, Emily, Renée (Daniel), Jonathan, Abigail, Patrick, Sean, Christine (Ron), Daniel and Kaitlin; his great grandchildren, Dante, Zariah and Emma; his sisters, Sara Ann Landis and Mary Ellen Dowling; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Smucker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Garden Spot Village (433 S Kinzer Ave, New Holland, PA 17557). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Weavertown Amish-Mennonite Church (2900 Church Rd, Bird in Hand, PA 17505).
