Shirk of New Holland, Pennsylvania, born in Narvon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel R. Shirk and Florence Shirk (Martin); his granddaughter Rachel Shirk; and his siblings, Amos, Paul, Martin Shirk, Esther Zimmerman and Naomi Shirk.
He is survived by: his wife Anna S. Shirk (Nolt); his children, Marlene N. Reiff (Lloyd), Lester N. Shirk (Alta), Leon N. Shirk (Pauline) of Owen, WI, Nelson N. Shirk (Irene) of Owen, WI, Harlan N. Shirk (Susan) and Mary Jane N. Weaver (Justus); his siblings, Harvey Shirk (Alma), Annetta Zimmerman (Lloyd), Ida Hurst (Walter) and Amanda Shirk; and his siblings-in-law, Elam Zimmerman and Ruth Shirk. He is also survived by 42 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at the home of Harlan and Susan Shirk, 201 Amishtown Rd., New Holland on Wednesday from 1 -3 p.m. and 5 – 7 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
