He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Rutter (Groff) and J. Howard Rutter. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Rutter (Sonnen); his daughters, Linda (George Buchanan, Jr.) and Sheri A. (Moses Noecker); and his stepchildren, Beth A. (Dean Overly) of Austin, PA, Vicki A. (Rod Hartman) and Anthony G. Eitnier. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
