As we bid adieu to Howard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Howard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Rutter (Groff) and J. Howard Rutter. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Rutter (Sonnen); his daughters, Linda (George Buchanan, Jr.) and Sheri A. (Moses Noecker); and his stepchildren, Beth A. (Dean Overly) of Austin, PA, Vicki A. (Rod Hartman) and Anthony G. Eitnier. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Garden Spot Fire Rescue Auditorium (339 E Main St, New Holland, PA 17557). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
