He was predeceased by: his parents, Harwin L. Stauffer and Dorthy Lammey Stauffer; his brother John Stauffer of Honey Brook; his son Joseph George Stauffer; his siblings, James, Jesse, Phoebe, Darlene and Clara; and his granddaughter Tabitha Cleveland.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Booth Stauffer; his daughter Mary Louise (Douglas Wilczek) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Tyler M. Wilczek, Emily C. Wilczek, B. J. Stauffer, Joseph (Bobbi Stauffer), George Stauffer (Amy) and Desiree Cleveland; his stepchildren, Dana G. (Gary Snyder) and Joel D. (Donna Brookmyer); his stepgrandchildren, Adam (Kara Snyder), Erin Snyder, Cory (Alyssa Snyder), Chelsea (Robert Reed), Chase (Raynie Brookmyer) and Charlee Janssen (Travis); and his siblings, Virginia (Emiliano Lebron) of Chadds Ford, Jake (Kerri Stauffer) of Coatesville and Debbie Riehl of New Holland.
