He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Shirk and Mary Huber Shirk; and his sister Anna Shirk. He is survived by: his children, Harvey N. Shirk of New Holland, Trent Shirk of Holtwood, Travis Shirk of New Holland, Kristina (Kervin Blank) of New Holland, Amanda (Jason Bickel) of Ephrata, Lori (Gier Gronstad) of Troy, MI and Brenda (Bob Bowers) of Dothan, AL. He is also survived by six granddaughters, one grandson, two great grandsons; and two brothers.
